I'm curious as to how much a lateral move in IB (from a smaller shop to BB/EB) diminishes your chances in getting MF or UMM interest compared to your peers, albeit on-cycle or off-cycle. How do buyside folks view this? Would really appreciate input from anyone who has experienced or witnessed this firsthand.
