Latest views on Golden Gate Capital?
Anyone have an updated perspective on the firm? I've heard mixed things in the past but would be curious to hear what people think about them wrt culture/comp/exit opps etc.

Curious as well. A few years ago they were having considerable difficulty attracting talent due to a pretty terrible reputation in terms of culture, so I wonder if they have made efforts to turn that around (and their nicer people went over and started Altamont a while back). I suppose we won't find out if they have changed for some time.

Did they discontinue the SA / Analyst program?
Would like to know as well. If the analyst program is still up, could anyone provide more info about it (recruiting timeline, experience, etc)?
They have lost considerable talent at the senior level in the last couple of years, but are still a highly regarded platform. For an analyst / associate position - you’ll get great experience.
