Lexington Partners / PE Secondaries

Would appreciate any color on Lexington / PE Secondaries in general.

What is compensation structure like? Any specifics?

How do 2-Yr Associates place for B-School?

Thanks all

Doors aren't going to open themselves like at a top IB. However, if you have the technical skills and are on top of networking, there are plenty of MM PE shops that would be interested (not the Apollos/Blackstones). Secondaries provides just as much exposure to the industry (if not more) than many IB positions. Assuming you are sharp and can interview, you will have Exit Ops.

bump - keen to find out more about lexington secondaries. has anyone been through their process before (incl. case study)? keen to find out more about the types of deals they've done in the past given the absence of a lot of information from general websearch. Thanks!
