How can you expect a PE firm to have good returns when you are taking away their slave labor? Not having new slave labor increases costs....business 101.

"Greed, in all of its forms; greed for life, for money, for love, for knowledge has marked the upward surge of mankind. And greed, you mark my words, will not only save Teldar Paper, but that other malfunctioning corporation called the USA."

obviously, the job is going to require more than the basic 9-5 and a lot of intellectual engagement. however, there can be shops that offer strong returns and, due to various efficiencies, have a better lifestyle than the KKRs and Blackstones of the world.

does anyone have any feedback?

If you actually get any responses, they will likely just flame you for trying to find a shop that values hard work but that values lifestyle as well, which could be seen as contradictory.

Agreed, I almost did this but I took the high road...don't get used to it

thanks for the feedback on the phrasing of my question.

maybe i should ask: what shops have hours for entry level associates in the 60-70 hr (9am to 10pm) average range?

i would consider that a lifestyle shop.
