Would someone please share with me a list of LMM (or MM) PE firms that focus on distressed companies? Thanks!

When you say PE firms are you talking about distressed to control like Apollo (but smaller) or rather a non control credit shop that does high yield loans?

Center rock does LMM distressed. Spinoff from wynnchurch which is a mm distressed fund
sounds like you work for an ib with a busted process or you just realized your representing a lemon and they think they are the best thing since slice bread. Most solid list I would assume are proprietary, if you find something let me know.
Most LMM guys focused on turnaround/distress are very specialized.
The guys at Dorset for example would be a great fit for industrial. They do MM size deals too I think.

Really depends how we want to define "distressed" and "LMM" but here are a few names to look into: New Water, Peak Rock, Prophet, Renovo, Resilience Capital, Transom, Grey Mountain, Aterian, Blue Wolf, Angeles. Maybe one or two of those names isn't around anymore.
Some LA names:
balmoral, riverside (has a fund), charger investment partners (guys from LLCP?), Levine Lichtman (used to do some distressed), solace capital partners, stone caliber, corbel capital partners, kingswood, sole source, nexus capital management, A&M cap partners
others I know of, depending how LMM
HIG, oaktree SSG, platinum (has small cap fund), crescent capital, cross bay capital, crescent capital
Does HIG do LMM distressed? I think they are ok with deep value/complex transactions but don't necessarily do distressed?
