LMM PE Shops?
Fellow Monkeys,
There's a decent amount of info on LMM PE shops on WLB, type of work, etc. but there are no posts on some names of actual LMM PE shops on the street. Does anybody have some names they can contribute so we can put an end to this question?
Looking for shops like Trivest, Firmament, LNC Partners, Boyne Capital.. feel free to add to this list. Funds within the $750mm - $2.5bn range.

Don't forget about KLH Capital and Star Mountain Capital, both in Tampa, FL.
I feel like the fund size range you mentioned is pure play middle market. I’d say anything sub $500mm would be more LMM
I see what you're saying but there are plenty of shops that have raised $2bn+ and still operate and crush it in the LMM

Look up Private Equity Association of Chicago and look through the member firms. Other names that come to mind are Stellex, Incline Equity, Rainier Partners, Gauge Capital, Huron Capital, Riverside, Cove Hill, Sumeru, Crestview

Ok LMM shop with good culture, comp is on the lower end but I know they do pretty well. Returns are decent 18%-22% over the past 3 yrs. Latest fund size is around 350 I think, someone correct me if im wrong on fund size
