LMM/MM PE London

Interested to hear from those who made the move from M&A to LMM/MM PE in London at the associate level. IB associates make a fair amount more than their PE counterparts in this part of the market, particularly referencing the smaller funds that pay sub-£100k, so not really talking about UMM or mega funds here. Was the move worth it? Anything else to consider? I have an offer but it’s a 20% cut on my base and that feels like a tough pill to swallow albeit I’ve always wanted to make the move:

Agree with the point it’s not worth it over IB at these kinds of shops. What pay was on offer? 20% cut generally is never worth it unless unemployed.
