London PE Recruiting as an An1

Hello all,

I'm an incoming Analyst 1 at an EB (think Rothschild/Lazard/Evercore) in London and am looking to move to PE within 2 years. Work life balance is quite important to me as I have pursuits outside of work I truly value. Willing to sacrifice two years for the experience and the pay but am looking to move to PE where one has more control over their life and isn't some buy-side investor's monkey. Would appreciate some advice on how to go about recruiting/headhunting/maximising my chances of an exit. Wouldn't mind MM PE funds like Waterland/Vitruvian or even Large-cap such as EQT.

Thanks all.
