Looking for resources on modeling software companies

Hello everyone! I've been going through some case studies as I prepare for buyside opportunities at software focused funds. Does anyone have good intuition around different ways to approach the revenue build for a software business (bookings to ARR waterfall, incorporating churn, expansion, downsell etc.)? Anyone have a fully built software operating model they could share? Also, what are the different things people look for in a CIM when evaluating a software deal? What are the first things you note and what is the investment framework you tend to use? What are some common adjustments and considerations you make when evaluating management projections etc? Any resources or intuition surrounding this stuff would be super helpful. Happy to compensate for time as well.

Thanks!
