Wondering how easy it would be to move from Lower MM PE to MF in London.. possibly via Upper MM PE, but without an MBA.

In general, it's significantly more difficult to move upstream than downstream. You will always see megafund or upper MM associates move down to upper MM or mid MM firms to further their careers. That said, it does happen. It's certainly not impossible. Just have to be in the right place at the right time.
