LSE AIC Conference

I'm a first year LSE student. Just got invited to the AIC conference, but it is £149. Wondering if anyone has any past experience with the conference and whether it led to any tangible outcomes. I don't really care about listening to the speakers, as I could just do this online. More interested in networking and any internship fast-track opportunities.

Previous threads seem to be at least 5 years old and the direction of alternative investments has shifted quite a bit since.

Thank you.

Wait, what in the actual fuck, AIC is 149 quid this year? Who tf expects a uni student to be able to afford that? Used to be around 50 or smtg in my day, don't rmb tho

Went last year, total waste of money. Better off sending your £149 as a donation to City Investment Training.
