"M&A Analyst" role at buy-side shop
I am currently interviewing for a "M&A Analyst" role at a fairly new Buy-side shop called Banyan Software
I was wondering what this exactly implies and if someone has come across similar postings / roles? Specifically, what raises an eyebrow is the fact, that the job description seems to intertangle Corporate Development and PE a lot.
I am interested in Buy-side (investment) roles and overall, the company and people have so far made a good impression. I am just worried, that this is a Corporate Development role, that is marketed as PE Investment Analyst role.
