Macquarie Funds Group

Curious to hear what people know about Macquaire Funds Group in NY. It's a fund that invests in infrastructure. My gut is to do this over a SA position with a BB in NY, but I'm curious what others' opinions are on this.

PM me if anyone actually works in Macquarie's NY office.

Thanks in advance.

I have very good friends at the senior VP level in that office. Also, a good buddy of mine was an associate who spent a couple years there.

As an analyst in that group, I would expect long hours (banking hours) and competitive pay (street banking comp). With regards to exit opportunities, my associate buddy went on to work in private equity. I'm not sure which group within the office you're interviewing with, but depending on the group, you could probably transition into PE or HF.
