MBA associate at top BB group. Do I have a shot in PE?

Hi folks - I’m a post MBA associate at top BB groups (think GS TMT/MS M&A/JPM HC). Before MBA, I did banking for 4 years at lower BB (think Barcap/Citi/UBS) doing sector coverage.

Do I have a shot at PE? If any, at what level/title and should I target lower MM shops? When should I make the move?

I did this; you do have a shot, planning on making a post about this.

Serious question: why did you come back to banking after an associate after 4 years pre-MBA? And, are you on an accelerated path because of your previous associate stint?
