Hello all, not sure if this has been covered and I am like 5 years away from getting a masters so I'm no expert. I know everyone says recruiting for PE post MBA is a low probability without prior PE experience but what about doing it via a PE summer associate experience? Like what PE firms have a summer associate program? If you have like 2 years prior IB experience, I don't see why going to an MBA program would make you less competitive vs someone recruiting straight from a bank for that associate position.
