Midcap private equity associate fix pay cut
Hi everybody, I have just absolved my second analyst year at an investment bank in Germany. Now I‘m in contract negotiations with a midcap private equity fund. I know for sure that there will be a pay cut regarding my fix salary. Does anybody here made a similar experience and can tell how high his/her fix pay cut was (in percentage or absolute figures)?
It depends on the type of MM fund.
e.g. Hg would pay on par with good EBs/ BBs; many of the lower mid market funds in Munich pay c. 80-90k on Associate level plus 30% bonus.
Thanks for the info. Is that a standard for lower midcap funds in Germany? Considering that some of them only pay €55k for analysts.
Highly depends on the fund. Happy to PM you and discuss - I am also working in Germany
I'm in Germany and would love to chat further - PM me if you have a minute!
