Military veteran looking for an executive assistant position

Dear all,

I am a military veteran of the army and a recent magna cum laude graduate of NYU’s College of Arts & Science looking for an executive assistant (EA) position. I am writing on this forum in hopes of being connected to someone who is in current need of or knows of an executive who currently needs direct administrative support from an experienced EA with a demonstrated strong work ethic.

I previously worked in the military police and legal departments of the army where I dedicated a significant amount of time to dealing with highly-classified and restricted foreign political contracts and documents, directly assisting the chief commanders of the army’s infantry, transport, and naval forces battalions with negotiations and dispute resolutions. I am actively seeking opportunities to bring my skillsets in supporting senior military officials to bear in the corporate world where I may gain more hands-on experience in supporting senior executives in finance and learn as much as I can.

I have also been admitted to and accepted an offer at a non-HSW deferred m7 MBA program (Sloan/Booth) which requires me to get at least 2-4 years of work experience before I will be allowed to matriculate. At NYU, I graduated with a humanities B.A. in History on the pre-law track with a cumulative GPA of 3.907/4. I originally intended to go to law school and return to my legal career path in government but ultimately decided that the path was not for me. I plan to grow a stable and successful career as a strong EA professional in the long term, and will greatly appreciate it if anyone may pass my contact along to anyone who is currently looking for such a profile; I will then gladly forward my resume along with an academic or professional reference if needed.

I wish to remain anonymous on this platform but if this will be of interest to anyone, please feel free to reach me at recentnyugradAToutlookDotcom and I will be sure to respond promptly to any queries that you may have.

Thank you!
