Minority Investors PE
Is there any PE firm that has a focus on doing minority investments? Not talking about a co-investment arm of a funds-of-funds. If it is possible, can we get a list going down below?
So like any growth equity shop?
No, like shops that specialize in making minority investments alongside a sponsor buyout. It's a niche area (if you do not consider FOF), and I know only a few firms that do this. I just wanted to broaden my list.
Also curious- what are the names you know?
Adams street has a pure co-invest strategy that isn't tied to any FoF.
Alpinvest does Co-Invest and I think keeps it seperate from FoFs
Harborvest I believe to.
Stepstone
I think basically all of the larger FoF have seperate CoInvest funds and for some of them you work seperatly from the FoF Group.
