I'm currently an analyst at a MM, starting to plan for PE recruitment. I'm targeting LMM to MM funds approx. $250-$750m fund size. How many of these funds even recruit on-cycle? If they are mostly off-cycle, am I better off waiting another year to start fresh with recruiters, give my full effort, etc.?
