Has anyone been able to successfully move offices within the same fund? My fund is LA based but has a presence in NY (though no one on the investment team sits there in my group). I am willing to lateral to move back to NY but really like the people I work with and have gotten great feedback so far. How should I handle?

If I’m reading your post correctly, you’re saying there are no investment professionals in the NYC office but you’d like to be relocated there?
If that’s the case I’d assume your odds are slim-to-none that they allow you to be the only investment team member in that whole office.
Fair thought worth asking. Know a few people that worked remote as an Associate due to COVID so not sure temperature for this sorta stuff now
