MSIM Secondaries Insights

I don't really see too many threads covering the group. Just wanted to get an idea of Morgan Stanley's Secondaries team. Figured its a small group but based on their recent fund size I assume they're growing fast. Website said they focus on LMM GP-Led, but was surprised to see another thread saying they were notably active in large cap GP-Led transactions. Besides from that, what does their FT interview process, Comp, WLB look like? Specifically looking at Conshy office. Any help would be appreciated

They were one of the first funds to create dedicated GP-led fund - they call it "ashbridge". Their cheque sizes are typically 50mm per deal, so they are either a syndicate player or lead in a LMM deal. I have however seen them go as small as 10mm on a deal. Their fund is pretty diversified as they have over 40 deals/companies in it. The fund looks effectively like a diversified co-investment fund. Quite a contrast to how ICG deploys capital (10-12 deals, all large cap where they are the sole counterparty).

So, in regards to MS being a large-cap GP-Led shop, it's mostly untrue. I figured Glendower would've made more sense in MS's place on that list.
