Non-competes
I know but at junior level most funds (esp UMM / MFs) don’t have non-competes but at what point do those come in? Once you hit VP / Principal level? Are they tied to Carry?
And for the ones that are affected by this, what are the terms?
Will differ by region, a) loss of carry and b) buyback rights on co-investment are the most negative.
