NY TMT/Tech Groups
Does anyone know of any UMM/MF Tech or TMT groups that are NY based? Seems like most of the TMT or Tech teams are based in San Francisco and I would like to stay in NY. The only ones I can think of is Warburg and Silver Lake.

Forgot about WCAS. Is that it? Also isn’t insight more of a vc/growth equity? Not a buyout firm.
Insight does buyout, growth, and venture.
I didn't include them earlier but General Atlantic is another name to consider. Large growth equity player.
Yeah not a ton of MF Tech in NY -- Vista is in Austin / Chicago, TB is Chicago / SF, TPG out in SF, KKR's tech team is in Menlo Park, Blackstone and Apollo are generalist so I guess you could do tech stuff in NY but no guarantee. A lot of the UMMs that are tech focused are not in NY either (Francisco, GTCR, Clearlake, etc.)
Your best options for siloed, tech specific buyout associate programs in NY are WP, SilverLake, and WCAS.
