NYU prelaw student & military veteran looking for a job
Hi all -
NYU prelaw student and military veteran here graduating this May and actively seeking opportunities in IBD and PE. Any kind of firm (lower-middle-market/startup) will be great - just really hoping to get a chance to join a firm on the investments side and to learn. As someone coming from a humanities background I lack any relevant credentials in investing and finance at the moment, so am willing to take up anything to get started and running. Doesn't need to be paid at all - it's just the experience that I really need at this point. At NYU my GPA is 3.9/4 and I have at the moment only work experience in military law enforcement (was originally supposed to go to law school). If anyone has any opportunities at the moment, or knows someone with such an opportunity, would love to hear from you at nyustudent AT outlook Dot com, and I will be happy to forward a resume along with references (academic & military).
Thank you!

I hope those threads give you a bit more insight.
I know that Drexel Hamilton is a veteran owned Investment Bank and if I were you I’d be trying to reach out to some of their members on LinkedIn!
