They are in a tough spot, having bet on few wrong horses (Thames Water, Glasfaser to name a few). Few key senior individuals have been let go recently including the head in London. To be fair with them, most of the investments that went south were made by the team that left few years ago to go to Wren House.

Pay is actually pretty decent. I heard for Asso 1 is around £120-130k mark and bonus can be anywhere between 50% to 100%. Being a pension fund, they don't have carried but from VP they give an LTIP.
Having spoken with a few of them, really nice people from my experience. Typical equity cheque is between €350m-€750m and apparently the mothership is quite supportive of the team despite the recent turbulences.
I've been working with them as a client and they're quite sophisticated in their decision-making. In terms of culture and WLB, I've heard a lot of good things, which may be why their pay is on the lower side.
