Thinking about exiting MBB and saw that Operating Associate is a common exit. I know this usually involves working with portfolio companies, but does anyone have any extra insight?
Is it viewed inferior to investing positions / compensated less? Are there exits from this role or do people stay longer term? Do you touch the models at all or is this purely an operating role?
