Partners Group CEO

I just noticed that Partners Group’s CEO is 39 and was first promoted to that position at 35 (originally as a co-CEO, he’s now the sole CEO). Prior to that he was head of private equity, so, I don’t know, must have been promoted to that post in his early 30s?? Does anyone have any insight on this guy? I’m just generally curious - seems extraordinarily impressive to achieve those posts at search an early age. I don’t know what their returns are historically but in any event, they manage over $140bn…
