Partners Group CEO
I just noticed that Partners Group’s CEO is 39 and was first promoted to that position at 35 (originally as a co-CEO, he’s now the sole CEO). Prior to that he was head of private equity, so, I don’t know, must have been promoted to that post in his early 30s?? Does anyone have any insight on this guy? I’m just generally curious - seems extraordinarily impressive to achieve those posts at search an early age. I don’t know what their returns are historically but in any event, they manage over $140bn…
…such* an early age…
Not a very helpful comment, and I don’t know his case specifically, but AUM is kind of a meaningless metric — they do a lot of FoF investing…
I was just correcting myself
right place right time
Right place, right time, good at politicking, well liked, drank and espoused the Koolaid, and worked hard. Returns / some sort of insane investment acumen are not what put him into this seat.
If curious about him, there is a podcast he is on if you look on Spotify.
