Partners Group , NAV Lending

Is this strategy new to Partners Group? Looks like they added a senior investment team member from 17Cap that started about a month ago.

Anyone get hit up to join the team if its newer to PG? Or are they just going to use members from the private credit team?

Based on the most helpful WSO content, Partners Group has a strong reputation for its diverse platform, including private credit and other verticals. While the NAV lending strategy might be newer to their offerings, it aligns with their broader approach of leveraging various vehicles and management fee streams. Adding a senior investment team member from 17Capital suggests they are serious about building out this strategy.

As for recruitment, it's unclear if they are actively hiring externally for this team or leveraging existing private credit team members. However, given their history of strong junior and mid-level exits and platform stability, it wouldn't be surprising if they are strategically expanding both internally and externally. If you're interested, keeping an eye on headhunter activity or reaching out directly could provide clarity.
