PE analyst -> Corp Dev
Burned out 2nd year middle market PE analyst and want my life back. Would I be competitive for corp dev roles or are they exclusivley meant for IB analysts?

Yes. 100%. As someone currently in CD at a Fortune 300, I do not believe that corporations care about your “path” like IB or PE does. If you have deals you can speak to it doesn’t matter if it is IB experience or PE experience or VC experience. You will be competitive.
Can I get into corp dev with a background from small cap equity HF?
