PE Cocktail Event Advice

Going to my first one tomorrow for a MM/LMM fund, wondering what the conversation is typically like. Don’t want to come off too strong with questions/conversation topics that I would ask at the end of an interview, but also don’t want to blow the opportunity to actually learn more about the firm/ask good questions. Obviously a ton of people on here have participated in these and wondering what experience people have here/where to strike the balance.
