PE Credit Associate (Day-to-Day) and Interview

Hey Guys,

I've posted about this in the past, but for those of you who currently work in/have worked as PE Associates in Credit groups, I'd like to ask the following questions:

What is your day-to-day like as an Associate?
What was the interview process like? Is the technical portion/modeling test similar to normal PE?
What are some pros/cons of the job?

I'm currently gauging if I am going to pursue an opportunity and wanted to get everyone's thoughts. Please be as detailed as you can. Thank you!

Key takeaways: tighten my elevator pitch (past-present-future, under 2 min), do one case study per week (model + presentation + recommendation) and send it to him for feedback, and prepare technical, market and behavioral questions separately.
