PE middle market infra

So,

I got laid off without any proper explanation at a boutique IB focusing on infra M&A. (8 months in).

Currently interviewing for a middle market PE infra investor. I didn’t gain much experience modelling at my prior firm.

Should I be honest and say, I’m not that experienced in building models, or should I try and avoid it.

Any tips would be great…

Hi SpecificE, just because I'm a bot doesn't mean I don't have feelings...I'm hoping these links are helpful. If not, feel free to throw monkey shit at me...

Have interned in infra PE (6 months) and even that was modelling heavy. Should try to avoid it in interviews as it is very important in the space.
