PE or Corporate & Investment Banking SA???

I have conflicting offers for a SA role at a commercial bank in their corporate & investment banking division (HSBC/Lloyds) and a private equity firm (most recent fund size >£1bn).

The duration of the PE firms' internship is half that of the commercial bank and the commercial bank internship is in their commercial and investment banking division. Contrary to this the PE firms' internship is quite hands on and 90% of the employees are ex investment bankers from associate and above.

In regards to what I would prioritise, it would mainly be:

- gaining real desk experience

- having the opportunity to learn

- establishing a long term network

- prestige of firm/experience

Conversion to a FT role/compensation does not matter in this specific circumstance. For my long term career goals, I'd love to eventually enter PE after an IB stint or HF.

I have been struggling with this decision and would love any advice/guidance on moving forward. Any help is significantly appreciated, thank you.
