PE Portco Career Path - P&L owner wondering what's next

Not sure if this is the right forum, but I am currently at a PE PortCo (managing a 25mm P&L in the home services). I'm at one of the larger aggregators in the space, and have a pretty standard profile for the role (service academy -> military special operations leadership -> HSW MBA -> MBB consulting(mostly transformation and strategy)).

Been in the role for about a year and its going well, but wondering what roles I should start to think about (If I left, it would be in a year or so). Within my firm, it seems like folks will transition to larger/multi-site P&Ls before transitioning to a national level VP role. Haven't seen too many folks leave so not sure what exits look like.

Off the top of my head:

-How should I brand myself? Am I a PE PortCo guy, home services guy, or a PE Ops guy (targeting a role at a fund)? Something else?

-Where should I focus my networking efforts, and how should I tell my story?

-What kind of career paths have you seen from folks with my trajectory?

Appreciate the thoughts. First time posting here after lurking since before applying to B school.
