Wanted to get your perspective on PE portfolio associate roles / exit opps. Considering a unique opportunity where Associate conducts pre-deal dd + post close portfolio work (but not in investment team).
Is it possible to lateral into investment team from your experience? Would this role open more opportunities vs. staying in consulting? What would typical exit opps look like?
