I am currently applying to PE firms for associate-level roles and now preparing my entry into processes.
About my background: done 2 years in one of the main BB financing teams on the street (think DB LDCM, CS LFSG, JPM LAF) and 1 year+ at one of the MBBs with lots of PE exposure.
Got a number of processes lined up in PE/principal investments and hence my questions: - what strategy to adopt (timing, succession of interviews, prioritisatisation, subsectors) - how to prepare at best for the interviewing processes - any other thoughtful advice for an innocent 1st time applicant
Obviously I am also referring to previous WSO posts in parralel, but would more than welcome your up-to-date, seasoned views on these topics
