PE Secondaries
Hi everyone,
I have a technical interview coming up with a PE Secondaries firm - they said it was going to be an "excel test"
What kind of technical & excel modeling questions should I expect?
LBOs? DCF? Other valuation methods?
Thanks in advance!
Does the firm do more GP-led complex deals or traditional?
I am not too sure - I believe they do more traditional - they also engage in primary & Co-investments but their main focus is PE secondaries
If it’s GP led deals what types of questions should you expect?
Questions you will be asked in a buyout interview
What kind of questions would be if it's traditional?
Similar to FoFs?
There's the primary component and then there might be a simple roll-up of underlying companies to create a "fund" level return. If it's mainly LP portfolios then this should be about as in-depth as they get.
