What is your total comp for PE secondaries secondaries these days? Asking for the analyst to VP level in the US.

Am I underpaid far below the market?

Firm: 2nd tier PE Secondaries firm (GP/LP-led) based in 2nd / 3rd tier city in terms of COL (think Chicago, Dallas)

Position: 2nd year associate

Base: 150k

Bonus: 60%

Also have 4 years of experience and have been interviewing for a few different associate/senior associate roles. TC range at 4 different firms have come in the $225-$300k range. Pretty wide dispersion on base tho, $135-$175k. Smaller firms (+/- $1bn in fund size) are gonna come in at the lower end of the range but have gotten the sense that those firms have great WLB so could be worth the pay cut.
