PE Secondary Deals - Attractiveness for Fund

I am currently preparing for an interview as an off-cycle intern at a large PE Fund (making direct investments, FoFs and secondaries). A previous intern told me some questions they asked him.
One of them was: what are the attractions of doing a secondary buyout?
