Was thinking about the same actually but have been hearing that you basically get a cut on the base, big cut in the bonus and possibly don’t participate in carry.
Moreover it’s a point of no return
Furthermore - seems to require years of value creation experience of consulting background.
Basically looks a bit grim but keen to hear the others. I think it’s a very interesting goal oriented job, close to revenue, build a real skill. Lots of exit ops for later on in life.
