My experience is dated (~2 years ago), but yes it was a 2-3 hour in office model and a one page write up. Not sure how it may have changed with WFH now
Was it an LBO? Was it a number crunching exercise where speed is one of key factors?
Pretty standard LBO test, believe it may have included management options and purchase price adjustment mechanics

3-4 hr traditional case study with template (nothing fancy) and a 30min discussion
No, but worked with them on a transaction and I’d drop out of the process unless you want to hate yourself. I’m so sorry for whoever gets that job.
Same here. Hours are the same if not worse than large-cap IB. Would not want to be at a place like that.
Principals shooting out mails Saturday/Sunday 03/04 am on a process. For sure not the life I wanna live :)
