Phone Chat with PE Exec- How to Prepare?

I've scheduled an informal phone conversation with a PE Exec in my extended network, and I need to know what to focus on as far as prep (I have two weeks). So far I have in mind:

1) Pick up as much technical finance knowledge relevant to PE as I can (I have zero finance experience and limited training)

2) Research the exec and the firm thoroughly

3) Polish my answers to "why PE?", "why this firm?", etc. in case those are brought up

This should be a fairly laid-back conversation but I want to come across as serious about wanting to get into PE to set the stage for future conversations.
