This means those Valsoft guys are about to go on a buying spree lol

Pornhub owner MindGeek sold to Ottawa private equity firm

ECP's website describes itself as a firm that seeks "investment and advisory opportunities in industries that require principled ethical leadership."

*buys the biggest porn site* LMAO

Heard from insiders that the most valuable piece of the deal was the marketing materials. Literally, every buyer just took a book as a matter of principle.

Looking at the team and the advisory board I think they’re gonna try to ”clean” up the site and only have videos (you know like no sketchy stuff where you can’t really trade the origin and what not…)

They have doctors of sexuality studies and  ex-litigator types.

hoping it’s not gonna be some woke BS.

I mean all that alone sounds woke. I guess the way to monetize must be -> let's kill the content quality but the viewership is still 1/10th of what it was. And now given we can trace all the content we can say increase ad dollars by x% - I bet porn generates a very tiny fraction of $/viewer as any other media type so to increase that even a bit is likely worth losing many viewers

time will tell

Maybe. But never judge a book by its cover. They be pretending to be or maybe they’re uber conservatives.
