Practical uses of of AI in PE
Trying to enumerate the practical uses of AI in private equity and venture capital that we can put to work, I noted that USV published online a description of the agents they are now using as follows:
• Sally: The meeting scribe that captures notes and context.
• Ellie: Monitors team emails.
• Arthur: The deal analyst who assists with research and investment discussions.
• Connor: Tracks calendars and relationships.
• Nancy: Monitors the news.
• Leo: Acts as legal counsel.
• Felix: Helps manage financial data.
• The Librarian: A tweet and knowledge distiller trained on two decades of USV blog posts.
Have you guys found pre-made skills or written your own that you've saved into the system in order to help have ready-to-go tools that you can use to execute the work?
Have you coded your own agents to help? And if so, what platform have you used?
If we divide private equity and venture capital up into three buckets, how can we make bespoke agents for each one?
1. Fundraising
2. Deal analysis and execution
3. Post-investment management
