Ares is headquartered in LA. Huge direct lending arm mainly focused on the middle market.
Besides Ares, Oaktree, Pimco, Doubleline and TCW, any other small shops that are based out of LA? Bigger places probably tougher to get to given that I'm at a smaller shop.
More importantly, any buyside recruiters for LA that folks know of?
