Private Equity - Investment Memo Writing
Hi Monkeys,
Can someone explain the process of writing an investment memo for a potential deal? Specifically, I want to get granular ie. is it really just putting CIM data and market research from IBIS world, gartner, CapIQ into your own words with some copy/paste into a word or PPT presentation? Do you use templates? How much of this is your own proprietary insights vs. copy/paste? Is it especially just condensing down the 50-100 page CIMs into 20-30 page memos?
