Question about HH 2028

Over the last couple of months, I have had a bunch of headhunters reach out to fill out forms and schedule intro calls. Should I be taking these calls when I am not sure what I want (not even sure whether I want to do PE vs. PC or something else). I've gotten advice to take the calls to establish a connection and be honest that I want to wait a few months into banking to figure out what interests me, then reach back out. Others have told me not to engage at all until I am 100% sure. Not sure what other people's experience has been, but just looking for some general guidance.
