If I see one more guy from UVA have his LinkedIn title as "private equity associate," only for me to go and check that he does corp dev at a MM PE backed LMM holdco, I might actually lose my shit. YOU WORK IN CORP DEV who is gonna tell them man can they stop this shit. I can't tell if they know and are just trying to market themselves better or if they're actually clueless about the difference in their roles. Please.
