I know many this has been stated already on this site, but what is the compensation for a first year analyst in Goldman Sachs Real Estate PE? or any other bb like MS? No one has actually answered this question in any other forums. Thanx

At MS its the same as banking - you're actually part of the IBD analyst program. I imagine it works similarly at GS but I could be wrong
1st year REPE compensation at all BB's and mega-funds is generally comparable, with starting salary falling between $50 - $70K. There's also some form of signing/relocation bonus ($5 - $10K) and a year-end bonus which varies from firm to firm, but usually amounts to $10 - $50K.
doubt that REPE guys at BB's start out less than Ops guys
aren't REPE groups harder to break into than IBD?
