Realistic path to Capital Solutions/Spec Sits Groups from LevFin at a BB?

Title, doing SA in NYC in Levfin at one of the European BBs, so not the greatest brand name but strong in the LevFin space. Was wondering how to optimize my path if I wanted to end up at a Capital Solutions/SS group at a MF/major player e.g. Sixth Street--would it be best to re-recruit FT and try for something like restructuring (not even sure how feasible that is)? Or is it possible to exit from an analyst stint in LevFin directly to one of the desired groups at a MF/UMM player? If relevant, I have a prior internship at a fairly large (~30bn AUM) credit-focused HF mainly in research. Just curious on where most people who exit to these Capital Solutions groups start their careers and how best to proceed from my current point.
